Getting started

What is TechQB?

TechQB is a pre-dispatch triage platform for garage door contractors. Your customers submit photos through a widget on your website, and TechQB produces a triage report — spring specs, urgency, parts needed — before you roll a truck.

How do I sign up?

Hit Get started, create your account, and pick a plan. You'll get your widget embed code and intake link immediately after checkout.

How long does setup take?

About 10 minutes. Paste the embed snippet on your website, add your domain to allowed origins, and you're collecting photo intakes.

The widget

The widget isn't showing on my site. What do I check?

Three things: 1) Your domain must be in Allowed Origins (including https:// and no trailing slash). 2) The snippet needs <div id="techqb-predispatch"></div> before the script tag. 3) Make sure the widget is enabled in Settings. Open your browser console — it'll tell you exactly what's wrong.

Can I customize the widget's look?

Yes. Set your brand color, welcome message, launcher text, and launcher position (inline or floating) in Settings. White Label plans can remove TechQB branding entirely.

Does the widget work on WordPress / Wix / Squarespace?

Yes. Paste the snippet into a Custom HTML block. See the install guide in your dashboard for platform-specific steps.

Can I send customers a direct link instead of embedding?

Yes. Every company gets a hosted intake URL (yourcompany.techqb.com/upload or similar). Share it by text, email, or QR code — no website needed.

Triage reports

What does a triage report include?

Spring specs (wire size, length, count), opener brand, visible breakage, door type and approximate size, urgency rating, and recommended truck stock. It's triage — what you're walking into — not a final diagnosis.

How accurate is the photo analysis?

Stencil text and opener labels are read directly when visible. Wire size is estimated from the winding cone scale reference. Anything uncertain is flagged as needing eyes on-site. The report tells you what it knows and what it doesn't.

What if the customer sends bad photos?

The intake guides them to take four specific shots (door exterior, interior, opener, torsion system). If photos are unusable, the report says so and you can request retakes from the dashboard.

Does TechQB replace my technician's judgment?

No. It's pre-dispatch triage — it tells you what to bring and how urgent it is. Your tech still verifies on-site before doing any work.

Billing

How does pricing work?

Starter is $99/mo for 50 reports, Growth is $199/mo for 100, Enterprise is $299/mo for 150, White Label is $499/mo for 250. Extra reports are $5 each. Annual billing is available at a discount.

What counts as a report?

One completed customer intake that produces a triage report. Abandoned or incomplete intakes don't count.

How do I update my payment method or cancel?

Go to your dashboard and hit Manage Billing. That opens the Stripe customer portal where you can update cards, switch plans, or cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your billing period.

Do unused report credits roll over?

No. Credits reset each billing period.

Troubleshooting

I'm not getting notification emails for new intakes.

Check Settings → Notification email is correct. Check your spam folder. If you use a forwarding/CRM email, verify it's accepting mail from reports@ggaurdai.com.

A customer's photos won't upload.

Max 5 photos, 1 video. Photos must be under 10MB each, video under 100MB. Accepted formats: JPEG, PNG, WebP, MP4, QuickTime, WebM.

The triage report seems wrong.

Open a support ticket with the report ID and what you found on-site. Every correction makes the system smarter.

Didn't find what you need?
